Gourmet Coffe Africa

Azi, cafeaua este cultivata in cel putin 32 de state africane. Totusi, productia acestor state este destul de mica, comparativ cu productia mondiala.

Casa de origine a Cafelei Arabice este Ethiopia- asa cum este denumita azi, unde imense teritorii de cafea crescand in salbaticie exista si in prezent. Chiar daca populatia acestei tari obisnuia sa bea cafea de mult timp, doar in 1450 cafeaua a fost mentionata pentru prima oara in istorie. In 1896, Kenia, Uganda si Tanzania au inceput sa cultive cafeaua. Doi ani mai tarziu, bobul Robusta a fost descoperit in zona Congo, iar momentan este produs preponderent in Africa Vestica.

Today, coffee is being cultivated in at least 32 African states. However, the proportion of
these countries with respect to world production is rather small.

The original home of the Coffea Arabica is in Ethiopia, as it is called today, where immense wild-growing coffee areas do still exist nowadays. Even though the population
of this country had drunk coffee for some time, it was only in 1450 that coffee was mentioned for the fi rst time in history. In 1896 Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania started with the cultivation of coffee. Two years later, the Robusta bean, which is now predominantly
produced in Western Africa, was discovered in the Congo area.

    Origine si plantatie  Mlastinile si savanele acopera Rwanda de Est, in timp ce in Vest se desfasoara turnuri montane, inalte si impadurite. Aici temperaturile sunt mai putin calde, iar solul este perfect pentru cultivarea cafelei, datorita vulcanilor. Cafeaua “Red Bourbon” este cultivata aici de multi fermieri mici, la altitudini de 1.700 - 2.100 de metri si este spalata in apa de izvor. Cooperativa „Abizeraba” sprijina fermierii in cultivarea si recolta cafelei.

    Caracter si gust  Rwanda Nyamasheke ofera cateva arome care amintesc de ceaiul negru. Are o savoare fructata, care se aseamana cu merele si stafidele, iar dulceata sa usoara, siropoasa, iti va invalui simturile.
